Derwas Fires & Stoves has a long history having evolved from being a traditional ironmongers established in 1961 by the present owners Grandfather to being a specialist fires and stove retailer and installer based in Welshpool with over 150 stoves and fires on display with many working models.
A bit about us ...
We have been around a VERY long time and have seen a lot of changes in the stove and fireplace industry so we have a huge amount of knowledge and experience, our installation team have been with us over 15 years and have fitted thousands of stoves and fireplaces in the Mid Wales and Shropshire area. Over the years we have invested in the showroom and staff training to display a huge range of the lastest products and keep up to date with all the changing regulations, we are registered HETAS installers, an approved HETAS retailer, and accredited by the Guild of Master Sweeps so you can be confident that we are a trusted and reliable local company.

We decided in early 2023 to merge our 2 companies Ironcraft & Derwas.
We no longer have our showroom in Shrewsbury but we have a much larger
store in Welshpool (where it all began). Pop in to see us.
