It is always good to put a name to a face, so here's the Derwas Team, Welshpool.
Kaye Derwas
Owner
My grandad started the business in the 50’s then Dad started on his own as an Agricultural Ironmonger in 1961.
I joined in 1991 after doing my degree in Aberystwyth Uni. It was supposed to be a temporary measure till I found another job, but almost three decades later I’m still here!
We truly are a family business and have had to move with the times, it hasn’t been easy but we are still going and I’m really proud to be taking the business forward.
Dave Kelly
Sales
Dave has over 20 years of sales experience behind him already, you can trust Dave to help you find exactly what you want, here at Derwas Welshpool.
Mike Jones
Sales & Technical
Mike Jones has a wealth of product knowledge having been in the stove industry over 20 years.
He is an expert in spares and servicing of appliances.
Sal Paterson
Office Manager
Sal joined us in June 2022 in the role of admin manager, having previously worked in admin and accounts in her family business.
She has progressed to taking control of organising the job diary and does all the bookings for the installations teams.
Sammy Derwas
Dogsbody
Sammy is our resident dogsbody who likes nothing more than to snore and sleep in front of one of our lovely fires and occasionally likes to sit on the counter and keep a close watch on proceedings.
