
Last night we had the pleasure of hosting 22 ladies who enjoyed an evening watching Everhot chef Steve Evans cooking up a feast on our showroom cooker the Everhot 110i which has 3 ovens including a grill, 2 zone induction hob and a large 2 zone solid cooking plate. Steve did a wonderful spread and utilised every feature of the Everhot.
The menu was :
All day breakfast cooked in the main oven then finished under the grill
Crispy cheese and ham toasties cooked directly on the hotplate
Slow cooked beef curry and fluffy basmati rice, the curry was slow cooked on the hotplate and the rice was first brought to the boil on the hotplate then put in the second oven to simmer away for 20 minutes
Leek, brocolli and beetroot quiche - No soggy bottoms here - as the everhot oven heat radiates from the bottom of the oven so there is no need to blind bake pastry
Slow cooked chicken with crispy roast potatoes and roast carrots and parsnips with asparagus spears cooked directly on the hot plate.
Home cooked sausage rolls which cooked really evenly in the top oven, no need to keep moving the tray round to ensure even baking.
Seafood linguine, cooked on the induction hob.
This was followed by most delicious moist lemon drizzle cake and a gooey chocolate brownie.
